About the museum
The objects displayed in the village heritage house were donated to the collection by the local German and Slovak residents. The first room, the pantry (kamra), presents the work tools, everyday life and festive days of Piliscsaba’s peasants and craftsmen, with everyday objects and period photographs. The kitchen houses the everyday tools of rural life, and the living room contains peasant and bourgeois furniture as well as peasant festive costume. Most of the objects recall the period from the 1900s to 1946.
