The old mill is an industrial monument; today it is presented as a mill museum, showing the remains of water-powered grinding. Velem, at the foot of the Kőszeg Mountains, is a popular excursion destination, also known for its subalpine climate and for the Bronze Age settlement uncovered on Szent Vid Hill.
