About the museum
The Casa Museo Giudice Livatino is the family home of Rosario Angelo Livatino, born in Canicattì in 1952 and killed in 1990. The house is kept almost as he left it on the day of his murder, when he set out for work, and it holds his personal belongings, including toys and books.
His bedroom, which became his study, is one of the most significant rooms. Livatino was beatified on 9 May 2021, and in the same year the Associazione Casa Giudice Livatino was founded to look after the house, which is made available by its owner.
Visits are organised in time slots with a maximum of 20 people, and can be tailored for groups and schools by contacting the secretariat.
