About the museum
The museum lies along the Ingagna stream, between Netro and Mongrando, in an area where ironworking has developed since the late 16th century. The Netro site occupies the former Officine Rubino, from which many of the exhibited materials come.
The documentation centre holds about 1,500 pieces, including finds, machinery and equipment produced by the Officine, as well as catalogues, drawings, sample books and technical manuals. The collection documents the evolution of ironworking methods and their links to the local habits of the regions for which the products were intended.
The ecomuseum offers guided tours and educational activities, and has an archive and a small bookshop.
