Mühlenmuseum im Thal
Museum of water mills in the hamlet of Thal in Aldino: shows how the machines worked by water power; open on Saturdays and with guided tours.
Have only individual sections read aloud
About the museum
The Aldino mills museum documents the water mills of the locality of Thal, in the municipality of Aldino, and the work of ancient trades that used water power before electricity. The route explains how the machines were driven directly by water and how the various processes worked.
The visit is also designed for children and is offered mainly with a guide: in summer the Pro Loco organises a guided walk to the mills, while from May to October special guided visits by reservation are possible.
