About the museum
The museum was opened in 2007 in Fiobbio, a hamlet of Albino, as part of the events marking the 50th anniversary of Pierina Morosini’s death (1957) and the 20th anniversary of her beatification (1987). The display was designed by the architect Edoardo Milesi and his studio.
It is on the ground floor of the parish house and can be reached directly from the parish church. The route follows the short life of the Blessed through the places and events that shaped it, in chronological order, and includes passages from her handwritten notebooks. Photographic documentation shows the funeral in Fiobbio on 9 April 1957, the unveiling of the monument in 1965, the stages of the beatification process and the beatification ceremony in Rome on 4 October 1987. The visit ends in a chapel dedicated to her, centred on a crucifix bathed in light.
