About the museum
The museum opened in 2009 thanks to the initiative of Mario Nobile, a collector and historian from Ragusa, who for years gathered materials linked to the Italian colonial period. The collection includes uniforms, documents, photographs and period newspapers.
The route is arranged in four rooms named after the Italian colonies in Africa: Eritrea, Somalia (set up in a corridor), Libya and Ethiopia, which closes the visit.
