About the museum
The Museo del Computer is a project of the ITIS “E. Fermi” technical school in Bassano del Grappa and is run by students of the school, who guide the visitors. The route shows how today’s devices came about, from smartphones to office PCs, from game consoles to web servers, and tells the stories of their inventors.
The collection also includes curiosities from the early days of computing, which may seem useless today but were either necessary or added value at the time. Most of the computers on display were donated by teachers, acquaintances and the school itself.
The museum is open at fixed times each week, but a visit always requires a reservation by email.
