About the museum
The Museo del Vino in Greve in Chianti occupies the old cellars of Greve, already known as the Mirafiori cellars, in the centre of the town. The display was created by the Falorni brothers.
Over an area of about eight hundred square metres, the museum presents a collection of objects and images that tells the story of viticulture in Greve. Among the museum's best-known images are the old casks kept in the cellar rooms.
Greve in Chianti lies at the heart of the Chianti Classico area, and the museum is one of the places that tell the story of the territory's relationship with wine.
