About the museum
The museum documents the rural life of the Val di Comino through three thematic rooms. The first, divided into five sections, recreates the interior of a country farmhouse; the second is devoted to work tools, including ancient and modern ploughs; the third illustrates productive activities, with a stone millstone oil press and a grape press.
In the entrance hall are displayed pre-Roman, Roman and medieval archaeological finds from the countryside of San Donato, and one section is devoted to traditional costume.
