Have only individual sections read aloud
About the museum
The museum coincides with the historic oratory of the Pia Arciconfraternita di Misericordia di Montepulciano, a volunteer brotherhood active in Montepulciano. In the Oratorio di Sant'Emidio a collection of works of art and sacred objects is displayed, most of them donated by brothers and benefactors.
Alongside the artistic pieces are the oratory's furnishings and the equipment the brotherhood has used over time for its charitable purposes, which document the history of the association.
Public opening takes place mostly in August and is run entirely by volunteers. The Misericordia's historical archive can be consulted by prior arrangement with the administration.
