About the museum
The museum is dedicated to Captain Inspector Goffredo Baldelli and opened on 19 July 2002, on the anniversary of the battle of Ancona and the liberation of Falconara Marittima. It is located on the ground floor of Palazzo Bianchi, in the centre of the town.
The display cases show almost the entire armament and equipment of a partisan band active in the Marche Apennines, with weapons of German, American, British and Italian origin. One section documents the discovery of this arsenal, while photographs and objects commemorate the Liberation.
An educational section reconstructs the war of resistance through original documents of the period.
