About the museum
The museum is located in Frattura, a hamlet of the municipality of Scanno, in the sacristy of the church of San Nicola, in Via Case Nuove, next to the parish church of Frattura Nuova.
The collection grew out of donations from the older residents, who entrusted the museum with tools they no longer use. The objects document the traditional life of the village: farming tools, shepherding and other implements, kitchen utensils, objects for the bedroom and tools for cleaning and domestic hygiene, including a battilardo.
