About the museum
The museum is housed in the former convent of San Girolamo in Sant’Agata Feltria and is organised in two sections. The first is dedicated to sacred art, with liturgical furnishings and vestments from the church and convent, of considerable artistic value.
The second collects rural arts: tools and objects of everyday peasant life from the last century, presented in domestic settings and craft workshops, with the tools of shoemakers, saddlers, carpenters and weavers.
The route unfolds across eighteen themed rooms, including a reconstructed tavern and a primary-school classroom. The museum also offers educational workshops in wickerwork, pottery, wrought iron, weaving, carpentry, decoration and printing, bookbinding and paper-making with natural materials.
