About the museum
The museum occupies the birthplace of Marshal Pietro Badoglio (1871–1956), a soldier and politician known for having negotiated, as head of government in 1943–1944, the armistice with the Anglo-Americans. The building is owned by the Fondazione Badoglio and made available to the Municipality of Grazzano Badoglio; management is entrusted to the Centro culturale “Pietro Badoglio”, supported by volunteers.
The route runs through seven rooms and two corridors, each dedicated to a theme or a significant period in Badoglio’s life and work, with memorabilia and historical testimonies, including uniforms and an Italian flag linked to the Ethiopian campaign.
