About the museum
The historical museum of the Municipality of Mombarcaro, in Piazza della Libertà, is presented by the village as the pride of Alta Langa. The building itself is not historic, but what it contains is.
The collections include ethnographic objects from Mombarcaro and all the neighboring villages, and a Roman funerary stele from the 1st century AD, of the Camilia tribe, linked to the origins of the first settlement. The museum is complemented by a permanent photographic exhibition on Alta Langa.
