About the museum
The museum holds the ethnographic collection gathered by Fioretto Bortot. It includes tools and objects of farmers and craftsmen from the Val Belluna and neighbouring valleys, dating from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century.
The richest sections concern the craft workshops, in particular that of the carpenter, with a series of planes, and that of the shoemaker. There is also a section devoted to building. Under a large canopy outside, the bulkiest pieces are on display, such as farm carts, ploughs, seed drills and wheelbarrows.
