Have only individual sections read aloud
About the museum
The Museo Steinegg offers a journey through Tyrolean history. It presents rural life and its links with religion, various crafts now almost forgotten, and the painful memories of war, through a carefully arranged collection of objects.
The visit follows a guided route through stube, rooms and workshops reconstructed faithfully, which give a sense of the daily habits and work of the past. One section is dedicated to local animal species and is especially loved by children.
A new feature is the chance to hear the accounts of witnesses of the time directly: video interviews shown on several screens, which are also the subject of special guided tours on request. The museum can only be visited on a guided tour and only during the season.
