About the museum
Palazzo de Felice stands in the centre of Grottaglie, in Piazza Santa Lucia. In the 18th century eighteen houses were built, and the largest of them, built in 1767, is the palace that takes its name from the de Felice family, whose ancestral home it was.
The building has a Baroque layout, with an imposing entrance with Corinthian columns, a balcony and a portico. The municipality acquired it towards the end of the 1980s, and since 2006 it has housed an art gallery.
