About the museum
The Roman villa of San Giovanni in Palco, at Lauro, includes an imposing thermal complex dating back to the 1st century BC. The structures are preserved on several levels and make it possible to identify the frigidarium, the calidarium and the tepidarium, that is, the rooms for cold, hot and warm bathing.
