About the museum
The Užgavėnių ekspozicija (Shrovetide Exhibition) is set up in the former stable of Plateliai manor. It is the first Shrovetide museum in Lithuania: it presents the Shrovetide festival, famous in Samogitia, and more than 300 different Shrovetide masks – “lėčynai”. The exhibition belongs to the directorate of Samogitia National Park.

Tickets are sold at the ticket office in the granary of Plateliai manor (Žemaitija National Park exhibition). The free entry on the last Sunday of the month does not apply to these exhibitions. The Žemaitija National Park visitor ticket (€1) is separate.
