About the museum
The Vinco Grybo memorial museum preserves the memorial setting and creative legacy of the Lithuanian sculptor. On this homestead from 1928 to 1941 lived and worked Vincas Grybas, one of the most prominent creators of monumental sculpture in the first half of the 20th century. The museum was founded in 1960 in the Jurbarkas manor park, in buildings erected in the mid-19th century that belonged to the manor of Prince I. Vasilčikovas – the office, the smithy and the bathhouse.
The museum houses several permanent exhibitions, and exhibitions, educational sessions and art classes for children and adults are held here.
