About the museum
The Muzeum Pancerne (Armour Museum) operates in Kłanino, in a former farm complex that belonged to the von Grass family before 1945. Its founder and owner is the collector Mateusz Deling. The collections were arranged gradually, and vehicles from the collection have been shown during historical re-enactments since 2015.
The permanent exhibition opened to visitors on 1 July 2022. It is housed in a building from 1891 with a floor area of more than a thousand square metres. The museum is entered in the national register of museums.
The collection includes tanks, armoured personnel carriers, military vehicles, howitzers and guns from the Second World War. A special exhibit is the German Sturmgeschütz III assault gun in the G version, regarded as the only fully operational vehicle of its type in Poland. Next to it are, among others, two Sd.Kfz. 251 half-tracks, a T-34-85 tank and the British Universal Carrier. The museum also presents radio stations, small arms, and helmets and equipment of Polish and German soldiers.
