About the museum
The Muzeum Motyli in Władysławowo is a private institution presenting some 4,000 real butterflies and exotic insects from around the world. It was formerly housed in the Fisherman’s House (Dom Rybaka) and now operates in a new seat at ul. Żwirowa 1.
Visitors can see the specimens up close, from butterflies bigger than a hand to insects that look like leaves. The entire new exhibition is arranged on the ground floor. Besides display cases, the museum offers multimedia and interactive stations, virtual reality (VR) and a multimedia sandpit for the youngest visitors.
The same company also runs the Muzeum Motyli in Łeba, which has been operating since 1999.
