About the museum
The Muzeum Pijaństwa in Gołąb was founded in 2007 on the initiative of Józef Konstanty Majewski, the curator and guide who has run the Muzeum Nietypowych Rowerów since 1987. It is a private institution which, according to its founder, is the only one of its kind in Poland. When it opened, the press wrote that it was a museum of drunkenness without a drop of alcohol.
According to the description on Wikipedia, the collections consist mainly of alcohol bottles. The museum is located in the same place as the Muzeum Nietypowych Rowerów, and guided tours are offered to groups as a separate service.
