About the museum
Bunker B-S 6 Vrba is one of the preserved structures of the Bratislava section of the Czechoslovak fortifications. It was built in 1935 by the construction firm Ing. Rudolf Frič of Bratislava and adapted in 1937 so that it could be integrated into the city's overall defence system. The garrison of the structure consisted of ten soldiers.
Since 2011 the bunker has been looked after by enthusiasts from a civic association whose aim is to restore this infantry block to its original condition from the mobilisation period of 1938. The association also organises educational and cultural events on military history. Today the bunker houses the museum's premises.
