About the museum
The Primaciálny palác (Primate's Palace) is among the best-known buildings in the historic centre of Bratislava and was built at the end of the 18th century. It is now owned by the City of Bratislava and houses the mayor's office. The Mirror Hall on its second floor is the most important part of the palace; in 1805 the Prešporský mier (Treaty of Pressburg) between Austria and France was signed there.
Visitors enter through the ticket office on the first floor and tour the gallery of tapestries and the Mirror Hall on the second floor. The admission ticket includes a free audio guide in Slovak, English, Italian and Hungarian.
