About the museum
Stonemasonry was one of the traditional activities of San Felices de los Gallegos. The interpretation centre preserves the memory of this craft and of the people who practised it, with tools, work implements and objects donated largely by former stonemasons and their families.
The museum is housed in the building of a former local cooperative, which was bought by the municipality, restored and catalogued, and opened to the public in 2007. It forms part of the town's museum offer, together with the Aula Histórica in the castle and the Museo del Aceite.
