About the museum
The Royal Brotherhood of Our Lady of Grace and Hope, known as “los Hijos de María” (the Sons of Mary), processes on the afternoon of Holy Thursday. Since 1991 it has had its own house museum, built in the old town of Cieza alongside the other brotherhood houses.
The brotherhood’s heritage includes the float of the Last Supper, commissioned from the Murcian sculptor García Mengual and delivered in 1981. Its gilded throne, made by the brothers themselves, was replaced in 1995 by another from the workshops of the Hermanos Noguera de Espinardo. It also owns a throne in the Seville style and the canopy (palio) of the titular image, both first used in 2000, and several costumes of the image.
Under the presidency of Rafael Marín Pino, the house was fitted out as a museum. No published visiting hours have been found.
