About the museum
The Museo Etnográfico Comarcal de Santa Eulalia de Tábara occupies the village’s former wash house, next to the La Burga stream. It is an ethnology and anthropology museum of district scope; it is owned by the Asociación Museo Etnográfico Comarcal de Santa Eulalia de Tábara and run by the town council of Moreruela de Tábara, the municipality to which the village belongs.
It is part of a small cultural complex in the village, which also includes an open-air ethnographic museum, a socio-cultural hall and a public library.
The collections bring together pieces from a wide variety of origins: Palaeolithic and Neolithic stone axes, Roman tiles and a basin (pila), coins and banknotes from different countries, pottery, traditional costumes, farm implements and household objects such as kitchen utensils and bedroom furniture.
