About the museum

The Museu Isern de la Moto is the private collection of the Isern family, a bicycle and motorcycle shop in Mollet del Vallès that has been in business for three generations and was founded in the twenties on the carrer de Berenguer III. Later, Josep Isern turned the business towards motorcycles and for years was one of the leading Montesa dealerships; the family also founded the Moto Club Mollet in 1974, specialising in children's motocross championships.

The collection occupies the fifth floor of the present seven-storey building and brings together a considerable number of motorcycles from the twenties to the nineties. It features a Derbi collection and also houses the museum of the rider Pere Pi, several times Spanish champion and the first rider to win the national title in motocross, trials and speedway.

It is a private museum: visits are arranged in advance, mainly for groups and motorcycle clubs.
