About the museum
Gamla Krukmakeriet in Gamleby, Laholm, is a pottery from the 1850s with a preserved kiln and preserved fittings. The building is today owned by Laholm Municipality.
In summer the pottery has been used by ceramicists and has been open to the public; one summer it was closed, and the tourist office was pleased when it reopened. Since 2024 the association Konstkraft Laholm has run the activities, with courses, workshops, children's activities and an open ceramics workshop. The agreement with the municipality runs until winter 2027, and the association has wanted to stay open during parts of the summer.
