About the museum

Stjärnholms skulpturpark is located in the grounds of Stiftsgården Stjärnholm, a bay of the Baltic Sea between Nyköping and Oxelösund, about five kilometres north-west of Oxelösund. The park displays works of art that all take faith, hope and love as their theme, scattered across the greenery around the Stiftsgården.

The sculpture park is run as a non-profit association and is financed by cultural grants, sponsors and membership fees. Hans Estvik is the originator of the idea and the artistic director. The most recent sculpture, Solidaritet (Solidarity) by Hans Estvik, was unveiled in 2025 in connection with an 80th anniversary celebration.

Visits to the park are free of charge. Guided tours can be booked in advance, and the Stiftsgården also has a restaurant, accommodation and a programme of events.
