About the museum
Borgs väderkvarn was built in 1881 and is a so-called Dutch mill (holländare) or hat mill (hättekvarn) with a rotatable top. The mill received new sails in 2012, but the machinery is original. The building's timber frame is octagonal and tapers upwards, and the mill has four floors.
The mill contains three pairs of millstones with different dressings, intended for different flour qualities. When the wind is suitable, the entire machinery can be run.
