About the museum
The Pomorski muzej Orebić (Maritime Museum of Orebić) preserves the maritime tradition of Orebić and Pelješac and introduces visitors to the sea and to the prominent captains, sailors and shipbuilders of the area. Its holdings include a collection of old books with a library, a maritime collection with paintings, ship models and maritime equipment, and an archaeological and numismatic collection.
The museum organises lectures, educational programmes for teachers and creative workshops for children, and takes part in the Noć muzeja (Museum Night) event.
