About the museum
The Tunturi-Lapin luontokeskus operates in Hetta in Enontekiö, at Peuratie. The centre's customer service gives guidance to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and its hiking trails; the operation is run by Metsähallitus's Luontopalvelut (Nature Services).
The centre's free exhibition Vuovjjuš – Kulkijat introduces Sámi culture and fell nature. Untuvikko is a children's play area, and the centre also has changing art exhibitions and a shop selling maps and souvenirs.
The nature centre is step-free and suitable for families with children. The centre is closed from October to November, and winter opening hours from December 2026 will be confirmed during November.
