About the museum
The Archaeological Museum of Kilkis has been operating since 1972–1973. The objects in its collections come from excavations and from donations by private individuals, and date from the Neolithic to the Late Roman period.
Renovation work is under way in the building on the corner of Outskouni Street and Regkoukou Street, which is why the museum remains closed to the public for the time being. The museum has a ramp and accessible toilets and offers educational programmes.
