About the museum
The exhibition “Mindenkinek mindene” (“All Things to All People”) presents the era and the life of Bishop Apor Vilmos of Győr in the ground-floor and cellar rooms of the Püspökvár (Bishop’s Castle). Using modern exhibition techniques, it recalls the bishop’s activity during the Second World War, his efforts to rescue Jews and his service in besieged Győr. The exhibition ends in the room where the shots that killed the bishop were fired.
The exhibition can only be visited with a guide, in timed groups. Guided tours can be requested in Hungarian, English, German, Slovak and Italian.
