About the museum
The latest permanent exhibition of the Győr Diocese and the Szent László Visitor Centre presents the history and veneration of the herm of Saint Ladislaus and the devotional image of the Weeping Virgin. The title Legenda Aurea refers to a rare 14th-century book, which is kept in the diocesan treasury and library. The exhibition ends with a summary film.
The exhibition is in the Káptalanház, a Classicist building with medieval elements. Tickets are available at the ticket office of the Püspökvár-Toronykilátó (Bishop’s Castle Tower Lookout).
