About the museum
The Art Park at Villa di Verzegnis is an outdoor contemporary art park conceived by the collector Egidio Marzona, spread across the meadows and woods of Carnia. The works are set directly in the landscape and are discovered on foot, with no fences or tickets.
The park hosts works by international artists linked to land art, arte povera and minimalism, made from materials such as stone, glass, steel and concrete. Among the artists represented are Mario Merz, Sol LeWitt, Richard Long and Giuseppe Penone.
The Art Park is part of the Sistema museale della Carnia (CarniaMusei) and is also suitable for a family visit.
