The artist attended the Accademia di Venezia from 1939 to 1942, studying painting with Guido Cadorin and printmaking with Virgilio Tramontin.
Her first oil paintings, made with the spatolato (palette-knife) technique, show views of Sappada. These are followed by portraits, studies and landscapes, including the undergrowth of Carnia. In her most recent works colour becomes the protagonist and the photographic image gives way to memories.
