About the museum
The house in Navarons, a hamlet of Meduno, is the birthplace of the physician Antonio Andreuzzi. The museum commemorates the patriotic action he led in October 1864, the only insurrectionary attempt inspired by Mazzini in Friuli, for which Navarons served as the logistical and organisational base.
The exhibits also illustrate Andreuzzi’s links with the leading figures of the Risorgimento (Italian unification), among them Giuseppe Mazzini and Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Visits are on request and admission is free.
