About the museum
The exhibition “Da li mans di Carlin” (From Carlin’s hands) is dedicated to the rural civilisation of the Val Colvera, which has now disappeared. It presents the traditional objects and buildings of the valley as reproductions at a scale of 1:10: the houses, the mill, the hammer forge and the church, made with the materials and building techniques of the period and fitted with working furnishings.
The miniatures are the work of Carlin, an elderly craftsman from the valley who worked on them for about thirty years. The exhibition is in Frisanco, in the locality of Colvorona, and is part of the cultural offer of the Ecomuseo Lis Aganis delle Dolomiti Friulane.
