About the museum
The house is located in the Palazzo Cerulli, in Via Piave, on the north side of Piazza Belvedere. The painter Vincenzo Cermignani lived here from 1967 until his death in 1971, after returning from political exile in France; the house was made available to him by the Cerulli family during the restoration of the Pinacoteca Bindi.
The house museum preserves the artist’s bequest: more than four hundred paintings and over three hundred books, photographs and documents linked to his life. The Comune di Giulianova organised a posthumous exhibition in July 1971. The museum is part of the system of the city’s civic museums.
