About the museum
The MUBA, the Museum of the Basilica of San Martino, is housed in the Palazzo Stabile, an 18th-century building near the basilica in the historic centre of Martina Franca. The museum documents the religious and devotional life of the town through works linked to the basilica of San Martino.
The collections are arranged in four sections: liturgical silverware, largely of the Neapolitan school; sacred vestments; paintings and icons; and choir books and parchments. Multimedia displays accompany the route and help deepen knowledge of the collections.
