About the museum
The museum is on the second floor of the parish theatre of San Sebastiano, in Via Roma in Valli del Pasubio, and is run by the Pro Loco (local tourist association). It collects testimonies of everyday history, not long past, of the culture and ways of life of the mountain people of the upper Val Leogra, in a border area.
The objects on display date from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century. The route includes a reconstructed kitchen with the hearth in the centre and groups the tools by trade: farmer, woodcutter, wine-maker, blacksmith, carpenter, shoemaker, butcher and cheese-maker.
The museum is part of the network of the Musei dell'Alto Vicentino (Museums of the Upper Vicenza Area).
