About the museum
The museum was inaugurated on 5 February 2020 in Tremenico, in the municipality of Valvarrone, and is one of the projects of the Ecomuseo della Valvarrone, which promotes the memory, paths and architecture of the valley.
The route offers an interactive experience centred on the strong themes of the valley’s rituals, regarded as the most living heritage of rural and Alpine culture. A narrator’s voice guides visitors through the various rooms, with stories, sounds and noises that recreate the atmosphere of the places.
