About the museum
The museum is set up in the ground-floor room of the historic Palazzo Falcone, in Piazza Falcone in Acri, the same building that also houses the town’s contemporary art museum and Risorgimento museum. It is part of the network of museums in the municipal area presented by the Municipality of Acri.
The collection grew out of a series of tools and implements that document the daily life and activities of the old local society. Among the most recognisable objects are a cart and a loom, alongside agricultural and craft tools.
