About the museum
The museum is in Pozzo, a hamlet of San Giorgio della Richinvelda, and was born from the passion of Gelindo Lenarduzzi, who for about twenty years collected objects linked to the rural life of the area. Lenarduzzi did not live to see the work completed: he died a few months before the opening, which took place on 7 August 1982.
The collection was donated to the municipality on condition that the museum remain in Pozzo, the village where the collector had lived. On the ground floor are preserved, among other things, three handmade pendulum clocks, including the central one from the bell tower of the church in Pozzo, while a series of farm carts used to carry grain to the mill or manure from the cowshed to the fields is on display in a covered outdoor area.
