About the museum
The ethnographic and anthropological museum of Fratte Rosa illustrates the terracotta craft tradition that has characterised the village for centuries and marks the end of the terracotta trail through the village. It is housed in the convent of Santa Vittoria, a 13th-century complex that sources describe as the first Franciscan convent in the area and that is worth visiting for the building itself.
The complex has been restored and now also hosts accommodation and events. Next to the museum, Fratte Rosa offers potters’ workshops and terracotta craft workshops.
